COURSE DATES COMING SOON!
I'm not sure about you, but I've read enough business strategy books for a lifetime. And the number of books I've read on yoga? Too many to count.
I get overwhelmed just thinking about all the business methods, trainings, advice and routines I undertake — just to achieve more, do less, earn more, stress less... and then when I leave "the office," so to speak, I have a whole other set of rituals I take on in my personal life.
Straight-talk business by day. Woo-woo lover by night.
As an eternal optimizer, I was at a cross-roads last year. I had to ask myself: Isn't there a way to live more authentically in all areas of life?
It's been over 12 years since I started my yoga journey, and I've put the same amount of time into my journey as an entrepreneur... nonprofits, for-profits, side-hustles — the works. And I'm finally ready to tell it to you straight:
The answer is: YES. And the answer has been under our noses for thousands of years!
I'll tell you how in our latest Soulful Sadhana, The Yoga of Business.
The Bhagavad Gita is one of the most revered texts in India, and throughout the world — it is considered one of the single greatest works codifying YOGA (beyond the poses) and all aspects of living a life in harmony with nature and our true purpose in life. And although I'd heard about the text, read the book, listened to the Audible version, and took a course on the subject, it wasn't until I started applying the teachings to ALL aspects of my life — only then did my life AND my relationship to business start to change, and I flourished because of it.
This is your invitation to spend 18 weeks with me, unlocking the messages within the Bhagavad Gita. You'll read (or listen) to an interpretation of the text, alongside receiving weekly Satsangs, or wisdom talks, from me taking the information learned and applying it directly to business — whatever stage of "business" you're in! Whether you're a self-made entrepreneur, stay-at-home mom, a manager of others, or wanna-be boss, this course is filled with actionable steps you can take RIGHT NOW toward living a life in harmony with nature.
(Psst: YES this counts as professional development — AND you get continuing education credits if you're registered with Yoga Alliance. Win win!)
Here's what you get:
18 Weekly Satsangs (Wisdom Talks): You’ll get 18 lessons on the message behind each chapter of the Bhagavad Gita, along with my perspective on how we — in today's world — can apply these teachings to business.
18 Sadhanas (Yoga Practices): Because each week has a totally unique message, you'll get 18 totally unique, easily digestible, yet powerful yoga/meditation offerings — one per week — taught by yours truly, customized to flow with the chapter we're addressing. The teachings may include Kriya, Breathwork, Asana, Mantra and Mudras, and expect to spend 5-30 minutes practicing per week. You can use the weekly recording to practice daily, for the greatest possible results!
18 Integration Projects: Teachings are only truly integrated if we bring them into our daily life... and although our weekly yoga practice will be a good compliment, these exercises have been designed to get you thinking, journaling, writing, and taking action in your life — and learning by doing along the way.
18 Mantras to use in Japa Practice: Honestly, the best way I've learned Sanskrit is from teachers who are willing to chant for me, and then I repeat the heck of the mantra in my head until it sticks! When we use mantras over and over and over (often using a mala), we fill in the gaps of our life, and we infuse our subconscious mind with productive, life-affirming vibrations... slowly our destructive thoughts fall to the wayside. Each week, you'll get a new mantra, spoken by me so you can hear it and chant it for yourself, and you have the option of using it as a japa practice as often as you like!
As a compliment to the course, I recommend listening to my podcast, The Yoga of Business, to get a feel for how I teach and what you can expect from me!
Frequently Asked Questions
Who is this program for? You! In all seriousness, this program was created through my lens as a woman. No yoga or mindfulness experience is necessary. If you’re called to participate, join us.
If I'm a registered yoga teacher, can I get continuing education credits through Yoga Alliance for this course? Yes! This course is worth 30 hours.
How long will it last? 18 weeks. The Bhagavad Gita has 18 chapters, and because there's so much juicy content within each one, we will spend a week studying each. You can budget about 60 to 90 minutes of time each week between the wisdom talk, writing exercises, and yoga/meditation practices, to truly feel like you're getting the most out of this course. That's 10-15 minutes per day. If you miss a week, no problem. Catch up when you can.
What’s the format? The entire course will be pre-recorded, released week by week on the Yoga Hive Connect Mighty Network platform, so you work through it at your own pace. We’ll have our own private group on the network to share stories, ask questions — it’s like Facebook group without all the baggage of Facebook.
What is our Soulful Sadhana textbook? Each month, our Soulful Sadhana typically has a recommended “textbook." This round, we’ll read (you guessed it!) The Bhagavad Gita. Honestly, the audible version of Eknath Easwaran's translation is my favorite. Otherwise this version by Stephen Mitchell is a good one, too.
*Books are not included in the price of the course!*
Seriously I have no experience. Hear me when I say: You’re ready, just as you are! If the course feels right, trust your intuition. All practices are lovingly guided so that if you don’t know things, I’ll teach you.

I'm Mollie Busby, your humble guide and devoted yogi, teaching to you from above Alaska's Arctic Circle where I live deep in the bush with my husband Sean and eight sled dogs, and we operate our yoga retreat center, Arctic Hive.
Awakening Shakti is ABSOLUTELY one of my favorite books. I was lucky to find this book (and a passion for the goddesses) through one of the inspiring facilitators who led my 200-hour training. After reading just the first few chapters, I was hooked. I've used this book over the years to guide hundreds of yogis and yoga teacher trainees through goddess meditation, invocation, and study, in tandem with my own philosophical studies from the Himalayas and beyond.
This I know for sure: When we create Sadhana (practice) and rituals to invoke goddess energy, we not only become more devoted to our own lives... but we find deeper meaning and power within ourselves. This is NOT about seeking energy that's outside of yourself. When we get right down to it, it's the exact opposite. Everything we need is already within us — the goddess is within us, in her many forms. These teachings simply aid us in calling upon that divine feminine within — so it can be wild and free!
Join this course with an open mind and a willing heart — I look forward to having you there!
