We've organized our classes by pace, so you can feel encouraged to try the pace that feels good to you.
Please Note: Not all of the class types below are currently available on our schedule.
In-Studio Classes: Our studio doesn't have a staffed reception desk, so we are typically open 15 minutes before and after class. Please bring your own yoga mat and water. We do offer many different props to help you achieve poses and we also have some items available for sale at the studio if you're looking to purchase new or upgraded equipment. Be sure to wear comfy clothes that you can move in!
GENTLE YOGA: Gentle Yoga is a Hatha-based class for all levels. If you are new to yoga, you may find this class particularly welcoming. There will be a mild flow and it moves at a pace that allows everyone to follow along easily. There will also be modifications offered to anyone that is challenged by a particular pose. If you are nervous about trying yoga or getting back into it, this is the perfect class for you. Additionally, if you prefer a softer, mindfully paced class, Gentle Flow will be a perfect addition to your weekly routine.
GENTLE YOGA WITH SILKS (AERIAL YOGA): If you are new to yoga with silks, you may find this class particularly welcoming. Gentle Yoga with Silks truly is a practice for all levels, and the focus is on learning the poses, relaxing and finding juicy stretches at your own pace. There will also be modifications offered to anyone that is challenged by a particular pose. YIN YOGA: Yoga Hive Yin Yoga is a quiet and simple practice, but not necessarily an easy practice. It is slow paced, with very few postures involved. However, it works deeply into our body. It targets our deepest tissues, our connective tissues — ligaments, joints, bones, and the deep fascia networks of the body — rather than the muscles. Suited for all levels, this is a great way to relax and restore!
RESTORATIVE YOGA: Restorative yoga allows us to relearn the art of relaxation while developing the skills and abilities to self-soothe. It enhances our healing capacity through helping us regulate the stress response and re-balance the nervous system. In a restorative yoga practice, the focus is not on stretching or strengthening but on releasing. We release tension in the muscles and gently stimulate the organs through long-held poses designed to support and comfort. To achieve comfort, a variety of props such as blankets, blocks, bolsters, sandbags, and eye pillows may be used.
AERIAL YOGA FOR ALL LEVELS: This class offers the practitioner a well-rounded experience of aerial yoga! The sequencing, postures and transitions offer a safe and fun guided class. Learn how to use the aerial hammock to stretch and access more space in your yoga postures. Experience decompression of the spine by hanging with the fabric. Rediscover your practice and body through this multidimensional yoga practice! No experience is necessary to give this a try.
VINYASA FLOW: Vinyasa Flows exist to get you moving. Open to all levels, the class will initially move through "vinyasa" (flowing with breath) to warm up the body and physically build heat to prep the muscles. You may spend time building strength through holding poses longer, which move us into the para-sympathetic nervous system where deeper release in the body for true healing and relief happens. You will leave feeling like your body (and mind) experienced profound release while building strength which helps you build a better practice week by week!
VIN/YIN YOGA: Vin Yin is the best of both worlds! Class begins with a vigorous Vinyasa Flow where you will work your body from head to toe and then transition into a Yin sequence to receive the benefits of deep hip opening, twists and more!
HIMALAYAN VINYASA: Vinyasa flows get you moving and this class features a Himalayan twist called "Kriya." Kriyas are like a yoga recipe - combining movement, with asana, breathwork and a handful of other things, all together for a specific purpose. They leave you feeling transformed and energized and are the most sustainable way to quickly shift your energy. We will spend about 20 minutes in Kriya, and 40 minutes moving through vinyasa (flowing with breath) to warm up the body and physically build heat to prep the muscles. The class pace is fast, but all levels could easily give it a try and feel successful doing so! You will leave feeling like your body (and mind) experienced profound release, leaving you more ready than ever to tackle what your day holds.
