Aerial Yoga
Teacher Training

Upon completion of this program, you will receive a certificate of completion
so that if you choose, you can confidently lead an aerial yoga class.
However, desire to teach upon gradation is NOT a requirement!

*Course counts as 25 hours of continuing education with Yoga Alliance!

Who is This Program For?

This is not a flips and tricks aerial training...  it's an opportunity to deeply surrender into your yoga practice using the support from a silk hammock. This training is rooted in the tradition of yoga — and offers a deep dive into how we make traditional asanas more accessible (and fun!) with the silks.

A 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher Training or a strong yoga practice is required for all attendees. Learn over 50 aerial yoga postures, deepen your physical practice, and leave the program with the confidence to lead others through an aerial yoga class, at the pace of your choice.

Why Aerial Yoga?

In Aerial yoga, the hammock is kept close to the ground and becomes a swing which can support the hips in both forward & back bends. For many people, yoga postures that are difficult on the ground can be performed more easily and with less strain on the body in mid-air. It is suggested that in addition to the emotional, physical and spiritual benefits of all yoga practice, Aerial yoga has particular benefits for strengthening and stretching the whole body, decompressing the spine, improving circulation, boosting digestion and lifting one's mood. In particular, aerial yoga strengthens the core as well as
the arms and legs, to support the body in mid-air.
