About Reiki Master, Daina Spinner
Daina found reiki the way most people do… Through an experience. While one of her favorite yoga teachers touched her forehead one day during final relaxation, she felt a warmth and calmness come over her she’d never felt from another’s touch before. After asking the teacher what happened, she revealed she was a reiki practitioner. Daina knew she wanted to make others feel the warmth and comfort she felt that day, and her reiki journey began. While studying reiki, Daina was interested to learn that it was common for energy healers in other cultures, like in Japan, to spend most of their lives studying the craft before they began helping others. She tried to keep that in mind in her studies, taking her time to learn as much as she could before receiving her Reiki Master Attunement. Daina started her reiki journey in Florida, studying with reiki master Michelle Santom, founder of True Nature Holistics, Inc. She received her Level I and II attunements from Michelle over the course of two years. She then spent a year studying under reiki master Diane Armstrong in Salisbury, Maryland, where she received her Master Attunement. Her hope as a reiki master is help others realize they already have all they need to find healing…Sometimes, it just takes someone to hold the space for us to uncover our truth and realize what needs healing. She is honored to be a part of anyone’s healing journey, and hopefully, yours. |
