You have one chance to take our 108-hour Bridge Training in 2020. Yes, this counts toward your 300-hour training with us! Course begins April 22nd.
Who is this training for?
The Yoga Hive® Bridge Program is for teachers who have taken their 200 Hour Teacher Training with another yoga school and who are interested in any (or all!) of the following:
Taking their 300-hour training with Yoga Hive® (these hours directly count toward your 300-hour training)
Teaching at Yoga Hive®
Having the opportunity to meet and join a new community of yogis
Dive deeper into yogic philosophy and ancient Tantra Yoga technologies
Become a brighter version of yourself
This training is for those who feel a deep resonance with the vision and energy of Yoga Hive® as a nationwide movement. This is not for you if you’re simply interested in “checking the box” and getting your 300-hour training done. Through our program, you’ll immerse into the core curriculum of the Yoga Hive® 200-hour program that is sure to enhance your existing knowledge of yoga. We have required meetings AND you have the option of attending any/all of the actual YTT dates and times that you wish.
Do I have to sign up for the 300-hour to take the Bridge?
Absolutely not! The 300-hour is an option available to you, and these hours count toward it... but taking the 300-hour is not required. We are offering the Bridge for those who want to get to know the Yoga Hive® Method more in depth and use the teachings to become a brighter teacher and version of yourself. If you don't sign up for the 300-hour program, but you opt to take the Bridge and THEN decide to officially enroll in the 300-hour program later, that's fine, too! Your 300-hour program just needs to be completed with Yoga Hive within 3 years from start to finish.
Note: Of the 108 hours in our Bridge Program, only 75 of the hours count as "contact hours" in your 300-hour Training.
What does the Bridge Program offer?
UNIQUE TEACHINGS: Regardless of which 200-hour training you’ve already taken, Yoga Hive®'s 200-hour (and likewise, the Bridge Program than runs simultaneously) offers a program unlike anything else available in the world. Our method fuses Sattva Yoga —which combines modern vinyasa with ancient Kriya Yoga, Kundalini and the Sattva Yoga Meditation Technique of the Babaji Lineage in the Himalayas — with Energy Medicine Yoga, which uses yoga and time-honored techniques to balance and align your energy field, boost your body's healing power, and alleviate physical and emotional issues.
ACCESS TO AN INCREDIBLE TEAM: Our founder, Mollie Busby is a Sattva Yoga Master Teacher and has studied in India for over 750 hours at Sattva Yoga Academy. Blaine Wilkes (owner of Yoga Hive Colorado) has studied at Sattva for 300 hours as well as completed her 300-hour Energy Medicine Yoga Master Teacher Program. Shelle Kuntz not only took her 200-hour Training with Yoga Hive, but she also completed 200 additional hours of study and mentorship through our Apprenticeship Program, owns and operates her own Yoga Retreat Center, and completed her Level 1 Energy Medicine Yoga training. In short: We've put in an incredible amount of time studying these technologies to bring them back for YOU!
BUILD COMMUNITY: In addition to learning and feeling the profound shifts associated with these technologies, you’ll have the opportunity to mentor others, and create lasting bonds with a community of yogis who are genuinely interested in connecting on a deep level.
UNLIMITED YOGA: Included in your tuition is unlimited yoga for the duration of your chosen program, which starts the first day of the 200-hour, and ends the last day of the 200-hour.
ONE-ON-ONE MENTORING: A least 2 hours will be 2 in-person (or Zoom video conference) meetings with Yoga Hive founder, Mollie Busby — these usually happen between weekend 1 and 2 of the program, and one post weekend 5.
ACCESS TO ALL MEETINGS OF THE 200-HOUR TRAINING: While we do have required meetings for the Bridge Program (explained below), you will also have access to the ENTIRE 200-Hour Teacher Training for the season you take the Bridge Program. This means that you come to training on the required evenings, but if we're covering something you'd like to re-take on one of the non-required Bridge nights, you're welcome to join in. Our only requirement is that if you decide to attend on additional evenings of the 200-hour training, you must let us know this at least 7 days in advance. This means you can't just "drop in" to a YTT meeting unannounced.
When does the Bridge program meet? Contact Hours: 75 Non-contact Hours: 33 Total: 100 hours
60 hours of in-person meetings described below
20 hours of reading/writing assignments using three of our YTT required textbooks to complete at your own pace (Autobiography of a Yogi, This is That, and Eastern Body Western Mind — cost of these books is at your own expense)
13 hours of 60-minute public classes with Mollie Busby, and write reflections on each one. These classes can be completed in person at any Yoga Hive outside the required training hours or via audio recordings provided to you at no extra charge to complete at home.
2 hours of one-on-one meetings (or Zoom conference calls) with Mollie to answer any questions, touch base and provide guided mentorship throughout your training.
3 hours spent working on your final exam: Sequence, practice, teach and record yourself teaching a 60-minute yoga class using key required ingredients specified by Mollie. If you'd like to teach this class a free class at any Yoga Hive, that can likely be arranged!
10 hours of additional practice outside the classroom, including daily Sadhanas, Japa Mantras, and more.
Other than the required meetings, you will have 4 months post-YTT to complete the other assignments.
As stated above, there are 60 hours of in-person required dates and times for the Bridge, which you'll find below. If you're going to miss a day or two, you can make it up through video recordings and additional homework. Note: We encourage everyone to attend in person whenever possible, but if you're interested in taking all of this remotely, we may be able to arrange that (although it won't count toward a 300-hour program!)
